Hey there! My son is starting 5th grade and my daughter is going into Kindergarten. I’m looking forward to leading the PTO this year (23/24). I have a passion for building community and hope to work with the PTO to help better connect the families and teachers within Excel. It takes a village y’all, so let’s get together and build relationships that will help the school to grow while teaching our children about the importance of a strong community.

Hello. I am so grateful to be a part of the Excel community and am really looking forward to what the 2023-2024 school year brings us all. I have a Son headed into 4th grade, having started Excel in Kindergarten. I also have a daughter who spends a lot of time at Excel and will be there in the 2024 school year. For me, the opportunity to be a part of the Excel community in this way is a treat, having been a part of the many wonderful events and opportunities to volunteer and engage last year, I really look forward to what we can create together as a community of teachers, students, parents, and administration.

Hello! Our family has been part of the Excel community for the last 5 years and we currently have an 8th (Ben), 6th (Lizzy), and 4th (Nate) grader. We have enjoyed the community of parents and look forward to helping to deepen the opportunities for community and connection that have been part of what makes the Excel a great place to be.

Hello! I am so excited to be part of the PTO as the Community Connections Coordinator. I have a two daughters one heading into first grade and the other who is a toddler. The thing that I have found amazing about the Excel community the desire the students, staff and parents have for the betterment of the school and opportunities for our children through fundraising and volunteering. My goal for the 2023-2024 school year to continue to build the strength of our community by helping plan fun events. Afterall, as stated by our PTO president ‘It takes a village’ so come be social and lets get to know each other!

Hi, I am new to Excel and so excited to get involved in the community and with the PTO. My husband Matt and I have two kiddos. My daughter Lyllian is an incoming 3rd grader and my son Luke will be a kindergartener. As a family, we love to camp, hike, read and play board games.
We are looking forward to the school year starting and getting to know more families and staff at Excel. Being part of the PTO, I hope I can learn more about the school, have an impact in building community for families, and support our kiddos as they learn and grow this year.
